Highlights: Port Blair - Havelock
Day 1: Arrival Andaman (Port Blair)
Our representative meets you at Port Blair to escort you to your hotel. After lunch in the hotel, go for Harbour Cruise (Viper Island). Take a 2 hours leisurely steamer cruise down the Harbour Cruise along the sea encircling Port Blair. It also ferries to the Viper Island; the first place of penal settlement in Andaman during British rule. In the evening, enjoy the spectacular Sound & Light Show at the Cellular Jail. Drift back to the past with the enchanting Sound and Light Show inside the cellular jail which runs for an hour long show, bringing alive the memories of the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle. Call it a day at the hotel in Port Blair.
Day 2: Port Blair, Havelock
After breakfast, reach the jetty to board the ferry and set off to Havelock Island. Havelock Island is 57 kms from Port Blair which takes a 90 minutes ride. The island is well known for its two world famous beaches namely Beach No. 5 and 7, both of which have been rated A+ by the World Tourism Organization (WTO). Hence, Havelock Island is an ideal destination for a relaxing beach holiday and trying out the water adventures like scuba diving and snorkeling. Spend the night in the hotel at Havelock Island.
Day 3: Havelock
Travel to the famous Radha Nagar Beach. Bid the day goodbye, retiring for the night at the hotel at Havelock Island.
Day 4: Havelock, Port Blair
Begin a leisurely day by making a morning trip to the picturesque Elephant Beach in a country boat. This is an optional activity available at Rs 1,000 per person extra, inclusive of snorkeling. In the evening, return to Port Blair to spend the night in the Hotel.
Day 5: Port Blair
After breakfast, set out for touring the historical city of Port Blair. Visit the famous Cellular Jail, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest and largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika), Andaman and the Gandhi Park. End the tour with a souvenir shopping trip to the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika).
Day 6: Port Blair
After breakfast drive to Coral Island to indulge in underwater life. North Bay (Coral Island) – an excursion to see coral reefs, exotic varieties of beautiful ornamental fish and other marine life. Also includes a glass bottomed boat ride. Options available for snorkelling and jungle treks. A break in the afternoon having a trip to Ross Island. This island is an ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc.
Day 7: Port Blair
Port Blair - Depart for Chennai / Kolkata.
Price: Rs.16,599 only per person.
