Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – 13th Aug - Saturday – Manali – Manali - Arrive Manali. Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure. Optional sightseeing to local places of interest.
Day 2 – 14th Aug – Sunday - Manali-Keylong (Rohtang Pass) - Start early morning for Keylong. Enroute stop at Rohtang Pass for snow adventures. Arrive Keylong. Day at Leisure for acclimatisation
Day 3 – 15th Aug – Monday - Keylong-Sarchu - Start early morning for Sarchu. Pass via Baralacha La, the highest point on Manali-Leh highway. Enroute, stop for photography. Transfer to hotel/camp. Day at Leisure.
Day 4 – 16th Aug – Tuesday - Sarchu-Leh – Start for the D-Day drive. Pass via lofty mountains and the most challenging roads. Transfer to Hotel after reaching Leh. Day at Leisure for acclimatisation
Day 5 – 17th Aug – Wednesday - Leh – Leh – Start for a full day Leh sightseeing. Visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River)
Day 6 – 18th Aug – Thursday - Leh – Nubra (via Khardung La) - This day is going to be an unforgettable day of your life. We will pass through Khardung La, the world’s highest motorable road (altitude above this can only be climbed up by foot like Mt Everest), on the way to Nubra Valley. Explore Nubra Valley, Hunder, Diskit by yourself. You can also enjoy camel ride on the famous double humped Bactrian camels.
Day 7 - 19th Aug – Friday - Nubra – Leh – Return back to Leh after saying Good Bye to Nubra and Khardung La. Rest of the day at leisure. Enthusiastic guest can go for rafting (Grade2 to Grade 4 available) on self sponsored basis.
Day 8 – 20th Aug – Saturday - Leh-Pangong Tso(3 idiots)-Leh – Early morning, start for Pangong Lake via Changla Pass. It is the same place where Aamir Khan shot his record breaking movie 3 Idiots. Pangong Lake or Pangong Tso is one of the largest lakes in this entire region which is shared by India and China both. Start back for Leh by afternoon.
For Guests completing the tour at Leh
Day 9 – 21st Aug – Sunday - Leh – Delhi – Guests who are booked for return flight to Delhi will be dropped at the airport for onward journey. Tour ends for them
For Guests completing the tour at Jammu
Day 9 – 21st August – Sunday - Leh – Kargil – Start for Kargil early morning. Enroute visit Lamayuru Monastery, giant Living Budha Sculpture on Rock mountain. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 – 22nd Aug – Monday - Kargil – Srinagar – Early morning, start for Srinagar. Enroute visit Drass village and spot the 1999 war famous Tiger Hill and Tololing Hill. Arrive Srinagar. Transfer to a houseboat in the very famous Dal Lake
Day 11 – 23rd Aug – Tuesday - Srinagar – Pahalgam - Wake up in the morning to the tunes of Lake. After breakfast, start for Pahalgam. Transfer to the hotel. You can enjoy river rafting at Pahalgam self sponsored.
Day 12 – 24th Aug – Wednesday - Pahalgam – Jammu – Start early morning (5.30-6.00AM) from Pahalgam for Jammu. Transfer to station/airport/bus stand for onward journey (please book tickets of only evening flight/train/bus). Tour ends
