Highlights: Kandy-Nuwara Eliya- Bentota-Colombo
Sri Lanka, at the Indian shore is like a tiny tear drop shaped Island, which is 100 times smaller than India. But it’s being rich in natural beauty with wide range of geographic features. Sri Lanka is one of the most popular destinations for many tourists all over the world inviting them all around the year.
Day 1: Colombo- Kandy (116 Kms, 2.5 hours)
You are welcomed at Colombo Airport and transferred to the hotel at a romantic Hill Station, which is also declared as World Heritage City, Kandy. Visit enroute the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. After Lunch, go for an excursion to the Temple of tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Have a day at leisure at the Kandy’s Hotel.
Day 2: Kandy- Nuwara Eliya (72 Kms, 1.5 hours)
After breakfast, take a drive to the picturesque Royal Botanical garden and other sightseeing destinations around Kandy. Upon returning from the enchanting sightseeing, break for lunch and then set out for Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England”. Visit enroute the tea-plantation. Bid the day Goodbye and retire for night at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya- Bentota (203 Kms, 5 Hours)
After breakfast, get wheeled for the different sightseeing around the city. Pay a visit to the historically famous Sita Amman temple, where Mother Sita, the eternal consort of Lord Rama, is said to have been captive by the evil Ravana. After the Lunch start for the journey to Bentota, a perfect destination for watersports. Visit enroute do visit the famous Kitulgala. Spend the night in the hotel at Bentota.
Day4: Bentota- Colombo (64 Kms, 1.5 hours)
After the regular morning breakfast, return for Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka. Step outdoors for your choice of activities like shopping and other sightseeing. Retire for night at hotel in Colombo.
Day 5: Colombo
Spend the day at leisure. After lunch, proceed for the Airport to continue with your onward journey. (Please book your departure/ return journey for the evenings)
